To establish service, we will need to schedule a “meet and greet” with you and your furfamily. This will allow us to get to know you and your pets in order to provide you the high-quality customized service for which we are known. This visit should ideally be scheduled at least one week prior to your departure date. This will also give the sitter and your pet time to get to know each other. At the time of the initial consultation, we will go over paperwork and discuss your and your pets’ particular needs. Once we have your paperwork and keys on file, we are ready to provide service at any time going forward. We do request that you give us as much advanced notice as possible, and we also advise that you book busy holiday seasons well in advance. Please note, we will not share pet sitting jobs with any other provider, friends, or family.
At the meet and greet, all documents will be provided for the owner to fill out.
What the sitter will need from you at the meet and greet: Please be prepared to go over any alarm systems or security measures regarding your home. The sitter will need the alarm code, password, and the number for the alarm company at this time.
- The client must also have 2 copies of the keys for the sitter at this visit. A key copy charge will be assessed if only one working set is provided. If an additional trip is needed to pick up the keys, the client will be charged a trip charge of $20.
- Any other useful information for the sitter to have while you are away. For example, emergency contact numbers or anyone else who will have access to the house while you are away. If others will be coming to your home while we are providing services, you will have to sign a release of liability.
- Payment must be made in full at the time of the meet and greet. For existing clients, payment is to be paid in full on or before the first day of service. If you fail to leave payment, Spoiled Rotten will cancel your services, and you or your emergency contact will be responsible for your pets’ care while you are away. We will charge an additional $40 fee for a returned check and an additional fee of $10 per day until payment is received in full. Payments for future pet siting services must be paid in cash prior to your trip.
